The script for the sound grapher is below.  You will need to ensure that your microphone is turned on for it to work.

Experiment with changing some of the numbers to see if you can work out what they do. 

• Why do you think 180 is subtracted from loudness?  (Try removing it to see the effect)
• Why do you think loudness has been multiplied by 4?  What happens if you multiply it by different numbers?
