Capture your video from the camera, and drag it to the movie window.

Switch to the Edit tab. Edit out any unnecessary footage from the beginning and the end. From the menus choose Setup > Make AVI file.  Set options as below

Capture the scale pole

While still in Edit mode you need to grab a frame that contains your scale reference pole.  From the menus choose Toolbox > Grab Video Frame

Save it to disk in 640 x 480 size.  Save it in the AVI folder in your workgroup folder. (You can create new workgroup folders in KA Video Setup) You must save it in .bmp format and use the same filename as you will use for your avi file. 

Switch to the Make Movie tab.

Save your avi into the AVI folder and in the folder set up for your workgroup.
