Digitising the body points involves telling the computer exactly where each body part is on each field of the video.

Image Set Processing is used to transfer files to or from another computer, so we can ignore that button.

Choose the DG button to digitise.

Initially you are asked to set various events. This is only necessary for large projects where you may vary how often you digitise a point (every frame, every 2nd frame etc) We will ignore it for now.

Click Set Event to start digitising.

Now it is simply a matter of clicking on each body point indicated.

If you make a mistake, just note down the body point and frame number and you can correct it later.

You can choose to end at any time and you won't lose your previous work.

When you have finished, you can use the ReDG button to correct any errors.

View you stick figures to check for any mistakes.

Now you are ready to analyse your data.
